The lease goes till july...its a three bed, the other roomate is persistent on keeping it, and the other moved out as well as I did...I am wondering if I get my name off the lease, can anybody sue me, or will my deposit be the only thing I void?I moved into a new house and want to get my name off the other lease, if I do, can the other leasee sue?
You are legally responsible for the term of the lease until it ends.

If you have one roommate that has left they are still responsible for the term of the lease as well.

Can you be sued? You sure can by your roommate as well as the owner of the home. It is called breach of lease.I moved into a new house and want to get my name off the other lease, if I do, can the other leasee sue?
You can't get your name off the lease without the permission of your two roommates AND the landlord and you are LEGALLY obligated to pay the rent until July.

It's a legal contract and just because you bought a house doesn't mean your roommates nor your LL should have to pay for that choice.

You can bet your bottom dollar if you don't pay up, and any of them sue you , THEY WILL win
All three of you signed the lease agreeing to live there until July. The rent doesn't change, so the remaining roommate is now stuck paying the entire rent for the apartment. Thus, she can sue you, your other former roommate or both for your portions of the rent until she finds new roommates or all the way up until July if she doesn't find anyone.

Keep in mind, it doesn't matter if the roommate is ';persistent'; on keeping it. If all three of you left, you'd have the landlord taking any or all of you to court for the time during the lease in which there is without a tenant.
they could probably sue you for 2-3 months rent. That is reasonable time for the tenant to find a new roommate. you will not get the deposit if theres major damage to the house before the lease is up when the landlord does the walkthrough.
You can be sued AND lose the deposit AND owe more money AND gwt your credit report dinged.
