Go someplace that carries a big selection of magazines. There usually soft cover books of house plans....


As for working plans with materials lists, etc. you won't find those free. You will have to purchase a working set of blueprints (several) for the different contractors %26amp; materials lists, etc. But you can find different ';PLANS'; books or I guess even websites. Or, do what my husband %26amp; I did, we sat down with graph paper %26amp; designed our own. Then we took them to the architect to draw up all legal like....

Your local public library should have dozens of books that have thousands of plans.
I don't recommend ';free architecture plans.'; You can buy inexpensive architecture plans from reputable sources -- but, free, I don't think so! You want to be able to rely on the quality and accuracy of the plans. A house is too important for ';free.';
