What do you think the most exciting thing is about moving into a new house?

My wife and are a current renters, but moving into our 1st house in about two weeks. we are very excited, but what do you think is so exciting about it?What do you think the most exciting thing is about moving into a new house?
A sense of accomplishment

Stepping up in the world

Claiming something for yourselves

A peace of sacturaryWhat do you think the most exciting thing is about moving into a new house?
most exciting thing is neighbor or the roads beside.
i am so happy for you :) well the most exiting thing about it is you can decorate however you want because you own those walls and you can do what ever you want without your bottom or top neighbor complaining about it!! congratulations :)
the most exciting thing is being able to add stuff to your house without having a landlord after you...CONGRATULATIONS~!
If you have the $$$ to do so, the painting, decorating and repairs (at first) will be lots of fun.

New furnishings is cool, too, but you'd have to have major cash to completely redo the house.

If money isn't an issue, the yard, landscaping and all the rest is all fun.
Having your own space and being able to decorate the place according to what you like, not what somebody else tells you.

That and having a place where you can invite people over to share good times with and at the same time be proud of having nice things to share with others as well.

Try not to think of it as boring. It isn't. It is fun and full of future considerations.
that its yours, you can do whatever you want to it, and of course ';breaking in'; every room and surface in it!!
Where you are going to put all the stuff you have in your new place.

New surrounding, inside and out.

Somewhere you have never been--undiscovered.
Being able to paint all the walls and decorate. I currently rent and I'm not allowed to paint my walls. I'd love to have a red dining room or a lavendar bathroom...
starting over...haveng a place for everything not having to thourly clean out things
