I have recently moved to a new house. We just found out we have scorpions. I was told that cats are imune to?

there sting is it true? If it is not so, how sick can my cats get if they get stung?I have recently moved to a new house. We just found out we have scorpions. I was told that cats are imune to?
You should call up your vet and ask. I'm not sure about scorpions, but here there are large centipedes. I killed one in the house and my cat ate it before I was able to dispose of it. Scared, I called the vet and she told me even the larger centipedes don't have enough venom to really hurt the cat. She said he might have an upset tummy is all. He never showed any signs of being sick from it. Vets will usually answer things like this over the phone for free and you'll get much more accurate advice.

You also need to call an exterminator to see about having your house treated.I have recently moved to a new house. We just found out we have scorpions. I was told that cats are imune to?
Cats are certainly not immune to scorpion venom. You need to first find out if the scorpions in your house are venomous or not. A good ';basic'; way of telling if they're dangerous is to compare the pincher and tail sting size. If the tail sting size is larger than the pinchers then it is likely to be venomous. Either way, I would not encourage your cats to play with them as (previously stated) they could react badly to a sting and it could cause an allergic reaction.
I am pretty sure that cats are not immune to the sting of scorpions. Depending on the type of scorpion, the cats could have a reaction similar to a bee sting or they could die from a venomous one. What type of scorpions do you have? I cold look into the potency of the venom......
