OPEN TO ANYONE: designing a new house, what features?

I am designing a house for my college project and wondering whether you could help me by saying what features should be on it or what materials I should include. In terms of electronics etc .. I think you should definately mention the ability to control the houses lighting and alarm systems with a remote control or mobile handset of some sort. They are available to be used on Mobile Phone etc. This would imediately give the house a futuristic and modern feel. Maybe implement speakers into the walls etc. And I believe a feature that sets a house off is a grand entrace way.
something that would help the environment for example solar powered roof.
