A nice art piece if you know their style. Or a cool antique mirror or something.

Or Target or another store. Not Wal Mart the certificate will fall apart before they can use it.
I just moved myself into a new home we purchased last month. Out of all the things anyone could have given us I would say a gift card would have been the most useful. I am not a big fan of gift card. However, I know we were at Lowe's almost everyday for a while. We spent an enormous amount of money at places like Meijer's and Wal-mart also. We needed to paint the house and just do the little extras to make it our home.


If you are looking for a more personal touch, something that they can say came from you, then I would suggest taking them with you when you decide to get them something. Let them pick it out. This way you know they will love it because they picked it out and it was something they needed or wanted.


If your not looking to spend a lot of money on this gift I would suggest at this time of year flowers or a plant they always brighten up a home. Something else to consider would be a plaque for the house with the house number and their name.
