i also dont want to put it in the wall, the landlord says no lol so cmon! its hot im on the 3rd floor and we have those windows that open side ways with a crank type of thing so it wont fit in the window. cant afford a stand up one right now so can i just put on the floor? Can i put a window air conditioner on the floor and use it? lol new house doesnt have lifting window screens!?
NO! The AC exhausts hot air, and it also creates condensation that will drip out all over the floor. Can i put a window air conditioner on the floor and use it? lol new house doesnt have lifting window screens!?
The window units drip water and blow a lot of hot air to the outside when they are in a window. So it would not really help out too much. The front of the A/C would be blowing cold air, and the back would be moving hot air.
Nope. They exhaust hot air out the back - that is why they are mounted in the window. Also has condensation that collects in the bottom and is supposed to drain out.
Not the window type. get a portable one. Cost a bit more but you can put the exhaust out anywhere and the unit stays inside the room.
