I just moved to a new house. It came with a Mabe stove. But the dial only goes up to 250 degrees.?

Is it in f degrees or c degrees? I looked for the manufacturers and it came from somewhere in south america. I have bever heard of that brand.I just moved to a new house. It came with a Mabe stove. But the dial only goes up to 250 degrees.?
That must be Celsius because that would translate to over 480 degrees F. which is a good high number. If the numbers are on the dial itself you might be able to get a replacement dial that reads in Fahrenheit. If you are seeing those numbers on an electronic display there might be a Fahrenheit or Celsius selector switch on it.I just moved to a new house. It came with a Mabe stove. That's a european brand oven. Here's a conversion chart for you. Write it down and put it on the fridge for referencing.

250 is 475 degrees so you will be fine.
