Mice in our new house?

we recently got mice in our new house,

so we put sticky traps out and we caught 3 last night

is there more??

do exterminator's kill them?

how can we get rid of them A.S.A.P?Mice in our new house?
You don't need an exterminator, just put out lots %26amp; lots of traps and eventually you'll get them all. Peanut butter is a great bait to use, mice can't resist that (and the smell really attracts them too). Make sure ALL other food sources are inside containers that mice cannot chew through. Use several different types of traps for best results. Don't use poison if you have pets. Also, look around the outside of your house carefully for any small holes or cracks and plug them all up to prevent more mice from getting in.Mice in our new house?
there are humane traps. You put food in them and when the mice enter, the door to the cage snaps shut. then you re locate them in a outdoor area. We have that problem every fall when the weather gets colder. They are very afraid of you and I think the sticky traps are cruel and unusual punishment for those little guys. They are important in the food chain.
There are probably more. If you live near a wooded area, consider getting a kitten or cat. It doesn't have to live in the house. You can feed it and have a dry place for it to sleep and have water available. The mice will flee. (We have an outdoor cat, born wild and I tamed, that we feed dry cat food 2 times a day and the occational chicken bone. We have been mouse free since he came about last year!) By the by, there is nothing nicer than being greeted by our cat after a long hard day at work!
Yup - you've got more.

Take on old vase that you stick flowers in,(I have too many of these), drop peanut butter in the bottom, and make a ramp out of a ruler, paper towel roll - what ever. Just make sure it's sturdy adn attached.

They fall in, and can;t get out

Take them out in the woods and let them go.

Bye Fievel!
There are probably more. The most important thing is to find where they are coming in. Some exterminators will use live traps and release them, just check. On the other hand you could also get a cat or a snake.
Sticky traps are horribly cruel. I have seen mice tear themselves apart trying to get off of them. Just use the snap traps. It kills them instantly.

And yes, you have more mice. Keeps putting out the snap traps and try to figure out how they are getting in. Don't call an exterminator. You can figure this out on your own.
More sticky traps %26amp; put a dab if peanut butter in the center of the trap. You might catch more mice that way.
