I have done it several times. It's a rather sweet deal, because after a few Sim-weeks, you have your initial investment back. (I would go for one of the low-end ones like Hogan's Diner or the bookstore, so you get your investment back more quickly.) Eventually, you can buy out the other partners, but it's a lucrative deal after awhile, and you can transfer the deed to other, younger household members so it can pass down generations. (You have to do that manually by using the shift-click and Transfer on the deed in your personal inventory; it doesn't do it automatically when your Sim with the deed dies, that I know of.)Sims 3 should i become a partener of a business cause i also want to evantaully get my family a new house ?

You should if you want your sims to be stay at home parents or whatever. Also if your sims job doesn't pay much. Just remember there is a down payment.
