For my new house all I have is my beds and dinner table. What should be the next on the list?

Window covering and a couch, or some color on the walls. For my new house all I have is my beds and dinner table. What should be the next on the list?
You should have all appliances, Fridge, Stove, dish washer(opp), Washer and Drier...but then it's hard to say....do you have towels? Dishes? Silverware? Pots and Pans?....or are you talking big stuff? If so, I'd consider the next thing you spend the MOST time with...TV, computer, couch....Good Luck...
Living room furn. curtains, towels, bedding. dressers. Then decorations.
something to sit on in the living room would be nice...:)

But I feel the most important place to start is in the kitchen. When you don't have anything for the kitchen, you don't have a home. (silverware, plates, etc).....you can get by without alot but without anything in the kitchen it is difficult. Start in the kitchen is my suggestion, go to walmart and get silverware and pots/pans, glass's etc...the other stuff will come with time.
You may prioritize things this way:

1) survival -

*Start with the kitchen. get a fridge, stove/oven, microwave, utensils/silverware/china, cooking implements

2) personal comfort/convenience -

*airconditioners/heaters (whichever applies)

*laundry: washing machine/dryer, flat iron

*curtains/blinds

*living room: couch, tv, stereo...side and coffee tables, carpets/rugs

*bedroom: side tables, cabinets/dressers, lamps, beddings

*bathroom: extra towels, shower curtains, toiletries

*equipment/house adjustments for whatever hobbies you may have

3) maintenance - cleaning/gardening implements (vacuum cleaner, etc)

4) entertaining - depends on the kind of lifestyle you're leading.
A couch, so you can sit and read instead of laying down all the time
I would have to say a sofa, coffee table and end tables.
If you don'thave them yet, kitchen supplies.

If you have kitchen stuff, I would get a comfy sofa and at least one matching chair. Every guest will see your living room, and you can invite people over!

[My husband and I each had a wall of boxes for our shirts, socks, jeans, etc. until we bought a bedroom set.]
