400 to 1500mm above ground. What is the height of 13 amp sockets in a new house in scotland?
For new build (not refurbishment or extension), it's between 450mm and 1200mm above ffl.

(Document M of building regs, which I assume is relevant to Scotland.)

EDIT: took some finding...Page 514

further guidelines in documentWhat is the height of 13 amp sockets in a new house in scotland?
Whatever height you tell your builder to put them.

Low down for under work top appliances, higher for worktop equipment or high up for extractor fans etc.

Similarly think where you are likely to put TVs, computers and have sockets (terrestial, satellite and telephonic) installed before the walls are plastered.
Check outside Jim,and see how high the pylons are.!
any height you like, Scotland has its own rules and does not come under the reg for minimum socket height
550mm in living rooms and bedrooms etc and 1400mm in kitchen.
