I've always thought the speed and price pressure on new homes must affect the quality. I did look at my friends house and it was made of wood I wouldn't use to build a shed. My sister had lots of settling prblems in her house.

I wouldn't buy a new house full stop, they're too small and over priced!
Its up to you but personally i wouldn't buy a new house from anyone as most of them look like prefabs and flimsy, my home was built in 1920's and I love it and wouldn't change it, those new properties are slightly overpriced in my experience.
